Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have.

1. What we collect

• Session ID — a random, anonymous identifier generated in your browser's localStorage to associate your calculation history within a single browser. It contains no personal information.
• Calculation history — the inputs and results of calculations you perform, stored on our servers and keyed only to your session ID. You can clear this any time from the History panel.
• Currency favorites — stored locally in your browser only. Never sent to our servers.

2. What we do NOT collect

• · No email addresses, names, or accounts — there's no sign-up.
• · No payment information — the service is free.
• · No third-party tracking pixels for advertising.

3. Third-party services

Currency conversion is powered by frankfurter.dev (which sources rates from the European Central Bank). Requests are proxied through our backend, so frankfurter.dev does not see your IP address.

4. Data retention

Calculation history is retained until you clear it or your session ID is rotated. We do not back up or export this data. There is no way for us to recover history you have deleted.

5. Your rights

You can delete all your stored data at any time by opening the History panel and clicking "Clear all". You can also reset your session entirely by clearing your browser's site data.

6. Changes

Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
